One of the founding principles of LavenderKiss is that clothing should not only look and feel beautiful, but should also smell lovely. That is why I always include a lavender sachet with my designs, so that opening the package will be both a visual and olfactory treat. In this design, I have taken that philosophy one step further and combined the potpourri with the gown.

The Potpourri Gown is made of gossamer-light, flesh-toned or dark-wine chiffon and elegant embroidered French trim. The strapless boudoir gown has a bouffant hem that is filled with delicately fragrant Sterling rose petals and lavender buds. To complete the ensemble are a matching chiffon bolero jacket with ruffled cuffs, a pair of chiffon pantaloons (also with ruffles), a headpiece of the French trim and lavender chiffon ribbon, and a genuine pearl or crystal bead choker. As always with my work, the seams are fully finished, either enclosed in a lining or as French seams.
